In cutlery business, the three greatest elements are “materials”, “tempering”, and “attaching of blades”. We are specializing in the process of tempering including quenching. The skills of local sword smiths are filled with over 780 years-old traditions. With the skills and modern technology, we make the foundation of robust blades. Many kinds of blades including scissors, kitchen knives, nail clippers, and knives for daily use are collected all over Seki city, and they are reborn as robust blades, which may not be chipped easily. Seki’ blades are known for its “not easily bend or broken and yet very sharp”.
